Converted in our workshop from an antique Victorian bar brooch (on which it did not sit comfortably!), this adorable little visitor could be your new mascot. In 15ct yellow Gold, a standard which was used solely in the UK between 1854-1932, she/he likely dates to the latter 19th century, a time when such whimsical creatures were a-buzz all over jackets and blouses.
Ornamented with a luscious Australian Rainbowed Crystal Opal and a deep pinky hued Ruby with miniature seed Pearls to the wings, all is very quirky as you'll notice that this little bug is short on legs...
Measures 2cm lengthwise.
